Tattoo removal is a procedure made to remove the tattoo that has been made on the person's body. The tattoos are permanent, therefore hard to remove. Today there are several methods to remove tattoo.

Tattoo Removal Cosmetic Surgery - Methods:

  • Tattoo Laser Removal: The laser beam breaks down the tattoo pigment and the cells drops with the skin shade. There might be a few treatments needed before the tattoo is totally removed.
  • Tattoo Removal Surgery: entire tattoo removal by cutting the skin where the tattoo is and closing the cut with stitches or by using a skin graft.
  • Saline solution: Applying saline on the old tattoo and rubbing it until it fades.
  • Freezing: freezing the area and peeling it by rubbing it with a special object.
  • Creams: there are also a lot of products out there like creams to remove or fade the tattoos.

 
 

Tips for Tattoo Removal:

  • Go only to certified places to have the tattoo removal, you would want to have the best results and as little marks as possible.
  • Ask your surgeon and search the internet for pictures so you will know what to expect after the surgery.
  • You will have some scaring after the tattoo removal, the scar appearance depends on: the size of the tattoo, how old it is, the location of the tattoo, who made it, and more.
  • Healing time is required after the tattoo removal.
  • The tattoo removal might require a few treatments, talk to your surgeon about the number of tattoo removal treatments you will need, also so you will be able to estimate the total cost.
  • After the tattoo removal surgery you might experience some swellings, redness and whitening of the skin. This will all pass in about 10 month.
