Thigh lift surgery is a cosmetic procedure to tighten loose skin on the thighs by removing the excess skin and some times fat, by combining liposuction.
The skin get loose over the years because of age and weight loss, therefore it is needed to tighten it by having a thigh lift surgery.
The thigh lift surgery can be made on men and women of all ages.
Thigh Lift Plastic Surgery:
An incision is made on the patient's upper thigh and lower buttocks so it won't be seen. If a liposuction is needed it is made and then the excess skin is being removed.
The thigh lift surgery is made under general anesthesia.

Tips for Thigh Lift Plastic Surgery: |
- Have the thigh lift surgery only at certified places with experience.
- Talk to your surgeon about the risks and result you should expect.
- Ask for before and after pictures of thigh lift surgeries so you will know what you are about to get. Try and locate someone with the same thigh appearance like you have.
- Quit smoking 1 month before the thigh lift surgery and 1 month after the thigh lift surgery so you will get better heeling with less scars.
- The patient will need to stay at the hospital or clinic for 1-2 days for observation, after the thigh lift surgery.
- After the thigh lift surgery the patient will need to rest for about 1-2 weeks. The patient will be able to resume normal but mild activities in about one month.
- It is possible to combine the thigh lift surgery with surgeries at other body parts such as: buttocks lift surgery, hips lift surgery, and abdomen lift surgery.
If all are made together the surgery is called body lift surgery. If only thigh lift surgery and buttocks lift surgery are made, the surgery is called: Lower body lift surgery.
- At the first few days after the thigh lift surgery, carefully apply ice in a cloth on the spot where you had the thigh lift surgery to reduce the pain.
